Well, no i'm not. not really.
i'm not sad either. i'm....neutral? gray? ef that sounds sad too, but it's not meant to be.

you know that in-between feeling you get sometimes throughout your life that feels like things are just there? passing by?

like you're waiting, or progressing, or just floating a long some vague unforeseeable timeline where the current is so calm you feel like you're not moving at all, yet you slowly see the sand and rocks and trees pass you way off on the shoreline?

i'm asking too many questions for too many answers that i'm not totally sure even exist. or for that matter, i'm truly seeking. whatever. in a nutshell, i guess it's just a funk.

i don't know if i can believe in something known as, 'art block,' anymore. i've claimed to have it when i have that feeling of hopeless creativity or noninspiration (spellcheck says i invented a word...ha!)to try something new, or i've just been too critical about what i'm expected to come from the end of my pen. dear god, i really don't know what i'm talking about.

i'm thinking about making a comic. i don't want to get anybody's hopes up (including my own) because it will most likely turn into one of those half-assed and half-baked ideas that consist of 90% of what i think about all day.

but all i know is i want it to be about heroes. superheroes with capes and shiny masks and complex lives and choices and all that good stuff.



i'm tired of venting. i feel like it's time i actually give something back to the world.
